Data protection
Cookies and history
Like almost all websites, our web server shows personal data such as browser version, pages searched or IP address used. To ensure functionality, our page may also use cookies.
We can in no way deduce from this data which person has visited our website. The data can be used to adjust and improve the functionality of our website or in case of digital attack against our page within the framework of current legislation by making them available to the competent judicial authorities.
Google Analytics
The corporatejustice.ch website uses the “Google Analytics” service, provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) for analysis of user use of the website. The service uses “cookies” – text files that are stored on your device. The information collected by cookies is generally sent to and stored on a Google server in the United States.
IP anonymization is used on this website. The IP addresses of users in the EU Member States and the European Economic Area will be shortened. This reduction eliminates the personal reference to your IP address. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and only there will it be shortened. Google Analytics uses the information collected to map the use of our website through statistics and reports.
You may use a browser plug-in to prevent information collected by the cookie (including your IP address) from being sent to Google Inc. and used by Google Inc. https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
Here you will find more information about how Google Inc. uses the data. https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en
This site uses the remarketing function of Facebook “Custom Audiences”. This feature is used to present interest-based ads to visitors to this website when they visit the Facebook social network. To this end, the Facebook remarketing tag has been implemented on our website. This tag establishes a direct connection to Facebook servers when you visit the website. This information is sent to the Facebook server, indicating that you have visited this website, and Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account. For more information about Facebook’s collection and use of data, as well as your privacy rights and choices, please see Facebook’s privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
Facebook Pixel is only used if you accept the use of cookies in the pop-up window.
Social networking plugins
Our website can use plugins from social networking companies (e.g. Twitter or Facebook news feed). If a person is connected to a corresponding social network platform when visiting our website, the provider in question may make deductions about the behaviour on the internet. We therefore recommend that if you do not want this service to be used, you disconnect from the platforms in question.
Share Buttons – Social Networks
Unlike the sharing buttons on social networks set up by social networking platforms, which are forwarded to the operator already at the time of page loading, we insert a button to like/tweet.
The visitor’s data will not be sent to social networking platforms without their approval. Only when the user activates the corresponding button (where no “sharing” is directly associated), he/she approves the communication with Facebook, Google+ and Twitter.
Donations / Raisenow
RaiseNow guarantees a safe and easy way to make payments and donations online. The certified online payment platform has been developed specifically for non-profit organizations and charities. We collect and process your data during the execution of your donation in order to maintain the donor relationship and send you information about our current projects. The credit institutions involved only receive your data when it is necessary for payment execution. You can find more information about data protection at RaiseNow here.
Newsletter / ActiveCampaign
To send newsletters, we use ActiveCampaign, a company that operates its servers in the United States. ActiveCampaign complies with EU data protection rules (EU DSGVO) and complies with all directives that European companies must comply with by 2018. For more information on data protection and ActiveCampaign, click here.
Surveys / Typeform
For surveys, we use the tool from the Spanish company Typeform. Typeform has strict data protection guidelines, but conducts part of the online survey services via cloud providers and servers outside the EU. You can read here the data protection provisions: Data protection information on Typeform. By participating in online surveys, you accept them.
Web font / Adobe Typekit
This website uses Adobe Typekit Web fonts. Typekit is a service offered by Adobe. This service provides fonts that are displayed in the user’s web browser after a server call to Adobe (in the United States). The IP address of the browser of the user’s device on this website is stored by Adobe. For more information, please see Typekit’s privacy policy, which you can access here: Data protection information Typekit.
